A little bit about me
I’m Dianne, and I specialise in helping people overcome their anxieties and limiting beliefs.
I’m passionate about empowering people to become all they can be. I’ve become aware, not only of the physical well-being of a person, but also their mental health having worked in both the private health sector and the NHS.
I recognise that giving people time, unconditional positive regard and a listening ear has an empowering effect on them.
I have been counselling for over 6 years in a variety of settings such as:
-
WMRSASC (West Mercia Rape & Sexual Support Centre) – I have had extensive training working with men, women and children supporting survivors who present with PTSD, Complex PTSD, DID, OCD, anxiety, fear, numbness, isolation, ME, Fibromyalgia
-
Place2be a UK Charity that works within schools to provide mental health and well-being support. A safe space where ‘play therapy’ and ‘working with metaphor’ is used to engage and enable children to open up and work through any issues they may have.
-
The Living Room is a Hereford charity, which has a community cafe and food larder. It also provides a safe space, where counselling is available, along with a drop in area that has an array of crafts, games and confidence building workshops available to all.
-
A New Hope Counselling – My own private practice where walk/talk therapy, telephone, video and face-to-face counselling is available.
